Pennsylvania Turnpike, Valley Forge Road
Project Details
The Valley Forge Road Bridge (Route 252) project was the first of nine bridges targeted for replacement as part of the Turnpike’s total reconstruction and widening project. The six-mile Turnpike mainline (I-76) traverses Tredyffrin and Upper Merion Townships. The final design was for the pier to have aesthetic treatment as well as abutments and wingwalls with a stone structure.
