Park Chelsea
Park Chelsea at The Collective is a 13 story, 600,000 square foot luxury apartment building in Washington, D.C. The architects, Esocoff & Associates Architects (now Gensler), built upon the capital's rich masonry tradition incorporating granite, limestone and cast stone in addition to traditional brick.
The exterior facade was designed to capture light and alter the building's appearance according to the changing sunlight during the day and throughout the year. The roof, featuring panoramic views of the DC skyline, is highlighted by a unique geometric cast design created by Arban Precast Stone LTD with custom formliners from Architectural Polymers.
The 429 unit structure was designed to LEED Silver specifications and features a multitude of environmental efficiencies.
