Globe Life Field
Home of the Texas Rangers
Globe Life Field, the 1.7 million-ft², 41,000-seat home of the Texas Rangers, blends advanced engineering with architectural detailing to create a multipurpose sports and entertainment venue. The design combines hand-laid brick with thin-brick precast concrete panels to achieve the desired aesthetic while meeting a tight construction schedule. Precast column wraps and arches, hung from the steel structure, integrate seamlessly with the interior masonry, while large travertine-inspired precast panels add texture and visual depth. Close collaboration between precast producers, masons, and contractors ensured a cohesive look across all façade elements.
The project’s accelerated timeline was met through innovative scheduling, shared crane usage, and the coordination of two PCI-Certified precast producers supplying both architectural and structural components. The result is a state-of-the-art venue that unites visual craftsmanship with engineering precision, delivered in time to host the 2020 World Series.
