Target – Fort Worth, TX

The 121,000 square foot prototype store in Fort Worth, TX premiers Target's new color scheme, fixtures and graphics. RSP Architects, Target Corporation's architecture firm since 1979, worked with Crossland Construction, Target's regional contractor of choice, to concept, design and build the new modern store while maintaining the company's branded design. The exterior facade features tilt up concrete walls created by TAS Commercial Concrete, using custom single use HIPS plastic formliners from Architectural Polymers.

Challenged by Mother Nature, the construction crews lost 55 days on the job due to snow and ice in the winter followed by a wet spring. The tilt up panels were definitely an advantage in the building design and helped to get the project completed on time.
