Architectural Polymers Joins AltusGroup as Innovation Partner

Altus Group LogoArchitectural Polymers has joined AltusGroup, a partnership of innovation-focused North American precasters, as an Innovation Partner. Architectural Polymers produces formliners and molds to impart distinctive finishes to concrete, including precast walls.

Architectural Polymers, Palmerton Pa., has been a leader in the concrete form fabrication industry for more than 20 years, offering solutions to meet the individual needs of precast, tilt-up and cast-in-place construction projects.

"We have worked with AltusGroup producer members in the past, which have yielded many award winning projects and unique art designs for precast projects," said Marshall Walters, President and CEO of Architectural Polymers. "Becoming an Innovation Partner will allow for greater synergy, market education and creative opportunity."

Architectural Polymers has developed a vast array of innovative methods that offer superior decorative alternatives to traditional brickwork and masonry. The company's innovations benefit a broad spectrum of the architectural community with applications ranging from decorative concrete art along North America's highways to custom manufacturing thin brick inlay systems to clad schools, hospitals, commercial office buildings, and parking decks

AltusGroup's Innovation Partners are among the concrete industry's best-known suppliers. They share AltusGroup's collaborative approach to precast concrete innovation. They include Meadow Burke, BASF, JVI Inc., High Concrete Accessories and FINFROCK, AltusGroup's most recent Innovation Partner, which joined in early April.

"The Architectural Polymers team is already looking forward to participating in AltusGroup events and CEU educational tours to advance the use and marketability of next-generation precast enclosure systems," said John Carson, Executive Director of AltusGroup. "Our members fabricating CarbonCast® and ARCIS® products will benefit from Architectural Polymers' experience delivering solutions that meet the design and cost demands of the building team."
